Well this is my first post here. Its also a release announcement. I've spent a good chunk of the summer working on this neat little drum synth called Fell Analog Head. It started as a mathematical model of the 808 drum circuit. As I played with the model I gradually extended and modified it to let it make sounds that that the original 808 couldn't.

For example, it keytracks by default making it easy to play melodic material on it. I've also added 8 voice stereo unison, a snare drum noise circuit, and a distortion to that saturates and squashes the sound.

It excels at making kicks, snares, and toms, but its also possible to create some noisy hi-hats too!

I've aimed to make something simple that is fun to explore. If the design is working the way I want, you won't spend much time browsing presets. Rather I hope that you are able to play with the knobs for a few seconds and arrive at an interesting sound.
